Staying in Valletta and want to book a Blue Lagoon boat trip?
Unfortunately, no boat tour operators have a departure point from there yet; however, there are other terminals you can use, and I’ll show you how to find the ideal boat trip that works best for you and your travel companions.
To hop onto a Blue Lagoon boat tour from Valletta, you’ll need to cross Marsamxett harbour (smaller than it sounds)

Sliema Ferries terminal is a popular departure point for many boat tour operators. It’s also the closest terminal to Valletta, so if you don’t fancy longer journeys, I recommend finding tours that depart from here.

This full-day catamaran tour promises a jam-packed adventure from start to finish. Amongst the highlights, you’ll have plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling, alongside passing by other natural wonders that Comino Island is known for.
Alongside Sliema, boat trip operators also depart from Buġibba Jetty. This is a slightly longer journey since Buġibba is located in the northern region of the island; however, it’s still an option to consider.

This exciting day tour takes you to key sites around Comino, including the Crystal and Blue Lagoons, as well as some of the stunning caves scattered all over the tiny island.
You can make use of the on-board padded sun loungers and underwater windows, dive into the sea from the water slides, and, of course, have the best time jumping into the crystal-clear waters.
Located in the northern region of the island, the Ċirkewwa and Marfa ferry terminals are the furthest away from Valletta. Many boat trip operators depart from these spots, but you have to consider the travel time needed to arrive at these terminals.
