The air conditioning inside the catamaran was fantastic. The bus to Gozo was a disaster – no air conditioning, the seat upholstery was sticky and filthy, and it stank.

We boarded Catamaran from Sliema but they also have an option to board from St Paul's bay. Great and very professional staff, decent onboard service and I'd personally and highly recommended to buy excursions such as €15 pp motorboat to see caves. We also paid €5 pp for bus to get to Gozo city from port. You get about 2 hours in gozo and Comino each. At €33 pp this Catamaran cruise was quite reasonable and I'd highly recommend it to everyone visiting Malta.

The boat tour with iSeeMalta to Gozo and Comino was one of the highlights of our holiday to Malta. It's a long day with the 7 hour round trip, but you get to see the beautiful Citadella in Gozo and we trekked away from the crazy busy section of the Comino landing area to the 17th century watchtower, and there were hardly and people there but amazing views of the Islands. Highly recommend this trip.

Good way to explore both islands.
The boat staff were very friendly and allowed us to go to the front of the boat to take pictures and relax.
Highly recommend

Departure point

  • Sliema Ferries (Opposite Black Bull)

How to get there / Transport

On foot:

  • If you’re interested in staying in Sliema, Sliema Ferries is centrally located within the vicinity of several hotels, restaurants, and accommodation options.

By bus:

  • Sliema Ferries: Ferries 3 (110, 211, 233, TD3), Ferries 4 (13, 13A, 14, 15, 16, N13), Ferries 5 (13, 13A, 14, 16, 202, 212, 222, 225, 233, N13, and N212), and Xerri (13, 13A, 14, 16, 21, 110, 202, 211, 212, 222, 225)
  • If you want to save money, public transport is the most economical option. You can get from point A to point B from prime locations such as Valletta, Sliema, Buġibba, and the Airport, and easily explore Malta’s attractions.
  • Not always reliable, as buses often don’t arrive on schedule. Additionally, it’s not the most comfortable journey; buses can arrive crowded.

By taxi:

  • Download one of these ride-hailing apps to your phone: Uber, Bolt, or eCabs.
  • Taxis cost €10 to €30, depending on the demand and the location

By car:

  • Renting a car is ideal for tourists who want to make their own way during their visit to Malta.
  • You cannot escape traffic jams in Malta. Additionally, be aware that some drivers don’t always drive safely on the roads.
  • Street parking in Sliema is tricky since it’s one of the island’s prime tourist areas. If you don’t manage to find a parking spot, opt for these paid parking areas: the Sliema Multi-Storey Car Park or Tigné Point Shopping Mall.
