Gozo, Comino, and Blue Lagoon Cruise

Setting sail from Buġibba Jetty, you will cruise north, passing by St. Paul’s Islands (a pair of uninhabited islands situated off the coast of Mellieħa and home to the statue of St. Paul the apostle), towering cliffs, and other picturesque views.

As the boat gradually makes its way to Comino, the first key place of interest you’ll visit is the lesser-known gem in Comino, the Crystal Lagoon. Although the boat won’t stop here, the friendly crew will give you a moment to admire and take a few snaps of the beautiful turquoise waters, dramatic cliffs, and nearby caves surrounding the lagoon.

Next, you’ll enjoy a stop at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, Comino’s most popular beach, famous for its mesmerising crystal-clear waters. It’s a popular (and busy) spot for swimming and snorkelling on boat tours. You can dive into the waters from the water slide, grab snacks and drinks from the on-board bar, and relax on the sun loungers while taking in the views.

Your excursion continues in Malta’s sister island, Gozo, renowned for its charm, tranquillity, sleepy villages, historic landmarks, and rugged coastline. If you select the transport option with your booking (which costs an extra €5), a bus will take you to Gozo’s capital city, Victoria, right after you arrive at Mġarr Harbour. You’ll have some free time to do some shopping as well as walk around the quaint streets of the Citadel, one of the island’s most historically significant landmarks. Alternatively, you can choose to explore Gozo at your own pace, before heading back to Gozo’s main harbour at Mġarr to continue the boat trip.

Before returning to Malta, the boat takes you around Comino’s Santa Marija Caves and the Santa Marija Tunnel, a distinctive rock formation resembling an elephant’s head.
