About this tour

Book this Malta boat party and get ready for a fun night filled with non-stop music, good drinks, dancing, and moonlit swims on the Fernandes II.

Departing from Sliema Ferries, the vessel cruises along the Maltese coastline. Make sure you’ve got your phone ready to snap a few shots of the picturesque views of the towering cliffs, the stunning Mediterranean Sea, and a breathtaking sunset as the day draws to an end.

You can expect nothing short of a vibrant ambience on board the Fernandes II. You can sip cocktails, beer, and other spirits from the free open bar, enjoy light complimentary snacks and fruit offered by the friendly crew, and dance the night away as the DJ spins the decks. Once the boat drops anchor, you can even jump in the sea for a refreshing swim under the moonlight, so don’t forget to bring your swimsuit.

The boat returns to Sliema Ferries at around 11:00 PM. However, if you don’t feel like heading home, you can attend the After Party in Paceville, which is included with your boat party ticket.

In short, if you’d love to experience the island’s nightlife scene, this is simply the place to be!

One of the best nights in Malta!
I’m not usually a party person, but the pirate boat party had great music, unlimited drinks, and an amazing crowd. Definitely a highlight of my trip — highly recommend!

Departure point

  • Sliema Ferries (opposite Black Sheep bar)

How to get there / Transport

On foot:

  • If your hotel is in Sliema, the meeting point is within walking distance. You can’t miss it; it’s also close to various restaurants, shops, bars, and other amenities.

By bus:

  • Nearest bus stop: Ferries 4 (13, 13A, 14, 15, 16, & N13) or Bouverie (aforementioned bus routes + 203, 211, & 233)
  • Since Sliema is a tourist hotspot, buses heading there are always crowded. They also don’t always run on schedule. It’s best to allow some buffer time to ensure you arrive at the meeting point on time.

By taxi:

  • Search for “Lazy Pirate Boat Party Malta” on your preferred cab-hailing app (Uber, Bolt, and eCabs).
  • Prices for a standard ride are around €10-25, depending on your starting point and demand.

By car:

  • It’s easy to get to the departure point by car by using navigation apps like Google Maps.
  • Street parking is a nightmare during the day. You may be able to find a spot in the side streets; however, it would probably be far away from the departure point. Sometimes it’s best to opt for a paid car park. You can choose either the Sliema Multi-Storey Car Park or the one below Tigné Point Shopping Mall.

Itinerary

  • Arrive at Sliema Ferries at 6:00 PM, an hour before departure, to check in.
  • The Fernandes II departs at 7:00 PM
  • The boat cruises along the coast, while you watch the sunset
  • Swim stop
  • Return to Sliema Ferries at 11:00 PM

  • Spacious deck
  • Shaded areas
