This 5-hour Comino cruise is ideal for travellers who prefer a late-afternoon/evening excursion rather than an early start. Additionally, it’s a good idea to opt for this boat trip if you’d rather watch a magical sunset, rather than experience the scorching heat that Malta is well-known for during the peak summer months.

Your journey on the Sea Breeze Catamaran starts from Buġibba Jetty. On your way to Comino, you’ll pass by key points of interest along Malta’s northern coast, including St. Paul’s Island.

One of the main highlights of this sunset cruise is that you’ll get to swim and snorkel in the famous, crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon with fewer crowds. You’ll also discover hidden gems scattered all over Comino, including some of the beautiful sea caves and coves.

During your excursion, the captain will make a few more stops for you to explore. Locations vary and can include the following, depending on the weather conditions: Il-Ġebla tal-Ħalfa, Għadira Bay, Ramla Bay, Golden Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa Bay, or Imgiebaħ Bay.

Very responsive staff and a must-have tour. A perfect overview of the tour :) We opted for a catamaran with deckchair-style seats for an additional fee – it works wonders and adds luxury and relaxation to the journey, so I recommend investing in the extra trip. ;P

Brilliant day out for valentines day, paid 5 euro to upgrade to boat with comfier seating which was well worth it. The stop at blue lagoon may be unsuitable for some but you can still enjoy from the comfort of the boat.

  • The nearest stops are Moll (lines 48, 186, 203, 212, N48, N21) and Anthony (lines 31, 214, 221, 280, N11)
  • Think ahead to make sure you arrive on time. Buses don’t always arrive on time and may also be crowded.

By taxi:

  • Type “Buġibba Jetty” on your preferred cab-hailing app (Uber, Bolt, and eCabs). You can download these apps to your phone from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Prices for a standard ride are around €10-25, depending on your starting point and demand.

By car:

  • If you’re renting a car, you can reach Buġibba Jetty by using GPS apps like Google Maps.
  • Parking is an issue in the area, so think ahead, or else use the paid parking at the db San Antonio Hotel, located 15 minutes away from the meeting point.
  • Check-in opens at 3:50 PM.
  • The boat leaves Buġibba Jetty at 4.30 PM sharp.
  • The main event: experience the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon!
  • 2-3 more swim stops (including Blue Lagoon). The captain will decide what’s best on the day, depending on the weather conditions.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the boat departs. If you are late, you are not entitled to a partial or full refund or even a different date.
  • Your vessel for this boat trip is the Sea Breeze Catamaran
  • Check-in closes 15 minutes before departure time.
  • Printed or mobile tickets are accepted.
  • If you have special dietary needs, you have to give the team a heads-up at least 24 hours before your boat trip.
  • Not suitable for children under 12 years.
  • The captain reserves the right to adapt the routes according to the weather conditions.
  • In case of poor weather, the boat trip can also be cancelled. When this happens, travellers will be informed as soon as possible.
  • 50% of the total cost is due if you cancel a week before your excursion. If you cancel 3 days before the tour, the full price is due.
